What are the advantages of using a live band?

    To top

Live music provides energy and excitement with a visual impact that simply cannot be duplicated with recorded music. Casino Royale creates a mood that gets your guests dancing and makes the party one to remember!

Do you have an audio demo or promotional materials?

    To top

Yes. Feel free to contact us at anytime for a promo kit which can include a video or CD.

How long has Casino Royale been together?

    To top

Casino Royale has been together since the Spring of 1999. We immediately started playing large venues such as Bimbo's 365 Club & the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, corporate parties for Microsoft, BMW, & the San Francisco Giants, as well as weddings & other private functions.

How many musicians are in your band?

    To top

Casino Royale is a 8-10 piece band depending on the situation.

Can you perform as a smaller group?

    To top

We prefer to perform with the large group as the music calls for a great deal of detail. Recently we have started offering a smaller group though the repetoire may differ a bit.

What style of music do you play?

    To top

Casino Royale plays the best of pop, rock, & soul. Though many of the songs were though written in the sixties they were even bigger hits in the 70s, 80s, 90s, & 00s. So the music actually spans all the pop music of the last 4 decades.

    What venues do you play?

    To top

We've played a variety of venues from arenas, mid-sized clubs and large outdoor festivals to vineyards, small banquet rooms and private homes. Some of our favorite places have been The Great American Music Hall (SF), The Niebaum-Coppola Chateau (Napa), The Mystic Theatre (Petaluma), Fourth Of Jul-Ivars Festival Mainstage (Seattle), & Bacara Resort (Santa Barbara). We cater all our shows to the size of your event.

What kind of events do you play?

    To top

We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to the different spaces and styles of events we play. Weddings, large corporate events, cocktail parties, boat cruises, stadiums, outdoor festivals, etc... You name it, we've probably played it.

Can you play songs not on your song list?

    To top

We've worked hard to maintain an extensive repetoire so you can rest assured that we'll tap into your favorites. But, if you have any recommendations, we'd love to hear it.

Can you provide music during cocktail hour or dinner?

    To top

We always have a variety of CDs from classic jazz to soul to latin during any down time. We'll automatically provide music for pre-show, between sets, or dinner. If you have any particular music you'd like, feel free to pass it on to us and we'll be sure it gets on.

Do you provide your own sound system?

    To top

We have the best sound systems & engineers in the business. We provide everything required to support our performance up to a mid-sized venue. For larger events, we have access to the biggest systems available though an additional charge may incur.

What are your space and electrical power requirements?

    To top

We ask our clients to provide a stage or floor space of 24x12x10 feet. For electrical power we require two standard 120V power sources within 20 feet of the band's setup location. Click here for stage plot. For smaller spaces, please consult with us as soon as possible.

When and how will the band set up?

    To top

We ask for a 3 hour window from door time for our engineer & crew to load our production equipment. The band usually arrives 1 hour prior to door for a complete soundcheck. Less setup time is possible for some events with prior consent.

What if we’re concerned that the band is not to be too loud?

    To top

Casino Royale is always prepared to perform within any volume constraints. When loud sound is an issue, we usually bring in a very minimal sound system and have been known to only amplify vocals when necessary.

How can I hear your band?

    To top

Visit our music page or feel free to contact us us anytime to receive a CD demo of the band.

Can you provide a Master of Ceremonies?

    To top

One of our singers often acts as the Master of Ceremonies for announcements, introductions, special dances, cake cutting, bridal bouquet toss, and all other reception events. Please inquire ahead of time. Our service includes pre-wedding coordination to help determine music selection, announcements, event timetable, and all other details for your special day.

Can you provide music for my wedding ceremony?

    To top

Band musicians can also perform for your ceremony. We have excellent and very experienced soloist, duos, & small groups. Inquire ahead of time for pricing.

How do you dress for performances?

    To top

Unless there is a particular request for more formal attire, Casino Royale usually wears period defining clothes that match our show. Typically you'll see cocktail dresses or mod suits early in the evening then more go go wear such as miniskirts & boots and mod shirts & pants. Everything we wear is appropriate for all types of audiences.

    Do you take breaks?

    To top

The band takes one 15 minute break each hour or 20 minutes between longer sets. If desired, recorded music can be played during these break periods to provide continuous music for your event.

    How long is your show?

    To top

We prefer to play one 60-minute set followed by one 75-minute set. We can also play three 45-minute sets if it best suits your event. We find the fewer breaks we have, the more fun people tend to have. But, we are certainly flexible for your convenience.
